Equipping Ambulances to the Highest Standards

At AMS, we are at the forefront of equipping ambulances with the stringent guidelines set forth by the American College of Surgeons (ACS), the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP), and the National Association of EMS Physicians (NAEMSP). Standard Ambulance Equipment

Our standard ambulance is equipped with Basic Life Support (BLS) essentials, including:

  • Ventilation and Airway Equipment include oxygen cylinders, ventilation tubes, an Ambu bag, a laryngoscope, laryngeal tubes, a pulse oximeter, and a nebulizer.
  • Immobilization devices comprise finger braces, cervical (neck) braces, spine stretchers, chair stretchers, and splints for fractures.
  • Monitoring and defibrillation equipment includes an automated external defibrillator.
  • Bandages include sterile burn sheets, triangular bandages, various dressings, gauze rolls, and occlusive dressings.
  • Communication devices for seamless communication between emergency medical staff, dispatchers, and medical control.
  • Infection Control essentials include eye protection, face protection, gloves (sterile & non-sterile), coveralls or gowns, shoe covers, waterless hand cleanser, disinfectant solution, and sharps containers.

The intensive care ambulances at AMS Medical Solutions are meticulously equipped with Advanced Life Support (ALS) equipment to ensure comprehensive patient care in the out-of-hospital setting.

Our ALS ambulances are equipped with the following essential equipment and supplies:

Monitor & Ventilator

Vital for monitoring and maintaining respiratory function during patient transport.

Vascular Access

  • Crystalloid solutions such as Ringer’s lactate or standard saline solution.
  • Antiseptic solution.
  • IV pole or roof hook.
  • Intravenous catheters.
  • Venous tourniquet and rubber bands.
  • Syringes and needles of various sizes.
  • Intravenous administration sets.

Medications

  • All medications utilized in our advanced-level ambulances align with the guidelines published by the American Heart Association’s Committee on Emergency Cardiovascular Care, as reflected in the Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support Courses.
